logistixAI Platform Enhancement Release Notes

We’re thrilled to announce a suite of new enhancements designed to streamline your operations, improve technician efficiency, and provide deeper insights into your business. Below is a detailed overview of the latest updates and what they mean for you.


1. Payment Acceptance & Processing

Our enhanced Payment Processing functionality is now fully available to all logistixAI customers. We’ve partnered with Stripe—the leading payment gateway—to deliver a seamless, secure payment experience.

Key Features:

Easy Integration:
Connect your Stripe account directly via the API Integrations menu. Simply configure your company’s settings (net terms, branding, logo, etc.) within Stripe for optimal performance.

Real-Time Mobile Transactions:
Technicians can now access a dedicated menu in the mobile app to accept payments or send invoices on the spot—whether it’s a one-time transaction or a pre-configured service from your price book.

Dual Payment Methods:

  • Direct Payment: Accept payments immediately on the mobile device by entering card details or using the Stripe M2 Bluetooth card reader.
  • Invoice Generation: Easily generate and email invoices directly from the app, letting your customers pay at their convenience.

Flexible Payment Options:
Leverage multiple payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, Credit Card, etc.) which can be managed through your Stripe dashboard.

Instant Financial Visibility:
All field transactions are available in real time in both the order’s financial tab within logistixAI and on your Stripe dashboard.

Important: Prior to using this feature, ensure your Stripe account is fully set up with your company’s details. For assistance, refer to our Stripe onboarding guide available on the logistixAI web portal or contact your account representative.

2. Price Book Support

Complementing the Payment Processing update, we now offer integrated Price Book Support through our Stripe partnership. This feature gives you enhanced control over your product and service listings.

Key Benefits:

Centralized Catalog Management:
Create, update, and manage your product and service listings directly within your Stripe account. Simply navigate to the “Product Catalog” option to begin.

Streamlined Mobile Access:
Technicians can search, filter, and select products from the price book while processing payments and generating invoices, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Enhanced Control:
While payment processing works seamlessly without a price book, setting it up allows you to standardize pricing and product details—ensuring every transaction meets your company’s standards.


3. Enhanced Configurable Reporting – Now Supporting Empty Values

We’ve listened to your feedback! You can now filter reports based on empty or null values, giving you greater flexibility in your data analysis.

What’s New:

Targeted Data Insights:
Easily create reports to identify jobs missing a scheduled date or where the Assigned Technician field is blank. This enhancement helps you spot potential operational gaps.

User-Friendly Filters:
Just click the filter icon next to any supported column and select “Empty or null” to quickly refine your report.


4. Weather Overlay Returns to the Routing Map

Our updated routing map now features the much-loved weather overlay, delivering real-time weather information directly on your map.

Enhancements Include:

Real-Time Weather Information:
With a single click, display current weather conditions, helping your teams plan routes and prepare for environmental changes.

Improved Operational Awareness:
Integrate weather data into your routing decisions, enhancing safety and efficiency in the field.


5. Auto-Assignment for Contractors in Your Network

Building on our contractor rate table support, we’re excited to introduce Contractor Auto-Assignment—designed to match work orders with the most suitable contractors automatically.

How It Works:

Smart Matching Algorithm:
When a new work order is created, the system automatically considers:

  • Market coverage
  • Trade specialization (e.g., HVAC, plumbing)
  • Necessary skill sets
  • Contractor capacity to meet the required Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Cost Efficiency:
If multiple contractors meet the criteria, the system selects the one with the lowest rate.

Priority for In-House Technicians:
In markets with both W2 employee technicians and contractors, the system prioritizes W2 technicians to ensure optimal resource allocation.
